Skipjack

The Skipjack is a traditional Chesapeake fishing vessel designed specifically for the dredging of oysters.  Because of their rich importance in our regional tidewater culture, we have chosen to celebrate the masterfully crafted ship with this oyster stout, brewed using local Rappahannock River oysters. Deep in color and rich in flavor, Skipjack boasts notes of roasted barley and brine. This brew was built to be smooth and smokey, finishing with slight salinity, reminiscent of sea spray.
